> Chance to Explore In keeping with our purpose, Satelloid members have explorer's hearts and seek to enjoy the wonders of our universe.  Our Chief Astronomer, Satelloid Advisors, and fellow members help guide you, and enjoy with you, our exploration of the universe.
> Awards Program As you achieve success in our observing projects you receive awards of recognition and the chance to achieve high ranks within the club.  As your rank increases, so do your skills and your opportunity to mentor fellow club members.   Click here to see a sample award certificate.

     real science
Unlike other science clubs, once members achieve a high enough rank, and thus skill set, in the Satelloid's club, you will actually have the opportunity to participate locally in real science expeditions and gather scientifically useful data that will be used by professional astronomers.

     Newsletter
Each month October - May you will receive the Satelloid newsletter.  The newsletters are mailed collectively to your advisor (for group memberships) or home (individual membership).  The newsletter contains articles on various aspects of natural science and science careers, with a focus on space and astronomy.

You will have a chance to share your observations with other Satelloid members from across the country.

    Chief Astronomer
When you send in your observations, reports, and completed projects, you'll receive personal feedback from our Chief Astronomer.  He is also available for questions and help.  It's his goal to see you personally succeed.

   Message Board
You'll have access to our on-line message board where you'll be able to safely 'chat' with fellow Satelloid members and advisors.
> Event Alerts Via e-mail and newsletter inserts, you and /or your Satelloid club will be informed to the latest astronomical events tailored for your area.
> Advisor's Package Satelloid advisors receive an information pack with all of the materials needed to get started with your Satelloid young astronomer's club.  Also included are ideas for club projects and activities.
> Recognition Your school and / or Satelloid club will be listed on our participating membership page linked to your website (if applicable).

      Astronomer
Depending on scheduling and location, the Chief Astronomer will attempt to visit as many clubs as possible.  For clubs outside of the local areas, web conferences may also be scheduled.
