Satelloid - A small moonlet which orbits an asteroid or a young celestial explorer who belongs to and orbits with a much larger body of young explorers.

   

Becoming a Member

Note: The newsletter is sent to members thru the school year (Oct. - May).  

Adults:  For adults Satelloids is a correspondence course into practical astronomy.  Through our ranking projects you'll learn the night sky and become an accomplished amateur astronomer.  You'll also have access to the Chief Astronomer to help answer any questions you may have.

Students:  The primary focus of the club is young stargazers 5th - 12th grade.  The goal is to help them take science out of the textbook and into the real world.

Payment:  Checks, Cashier's Check, and Money Orders are accepted for dues payment.  Please make checks out to: AstroScan Media.

Membership - All forms, projects, the newsletter, and astronomy alerts are available on the website or e-mailed to you to be printed on your end.  Projects and forms are completed then mailed back to headquarters as normal.  This eliminates a part of our printing overhead and allows us to pass the savings to you.
